Metropolis is a science fiction movie in which takes place in the Earth in the year 2020, the movie starts showing us that in the city people are divide in to two parts, the rich people who can afford everything and also have a life full of luxuries, and the poor people which are all the workers in the city that live in inhuman conditions and also in a subterranean city. but everything starts to change when Freder meets Maria and her underworld. Freder want to do something about it so he approaches to his father and tells him that if they didn't do anything the under ground civilian will rise against him (his dad was the owner of Metropolis) but he didn't care about it while in Maria side things started to get hot because she tried to talk to everyone and convince them that that wasn't the solution.
then this guy called Rowtang that didn't like the society kidnaps Maria and makes a robot out of her, the instructions of the robot to the workers we to rebel against the upper city. at the end whole metropolis is destroyed and people just fight against each other without achieving anything.
in my opinion the movie was a little boring but I do learn something about it an it is that we will never reach a perfect society, and this is because there will always be people that don't like the ways things work and they will do everything to change the society to their own convenience. its like a cycle because it will always start, th3en the wont like something so they will destroy it and finally built it again.
Back to the ESL class, during the week I saw, learn and review many interesting thins such as the:
- verb tenses
-using future to make predictions
-idioms and jargons
-common phrases in English
I really loved this week because I saw really good presentations and also I was able to learn new phrases but my favorite was the one that says "beat a dead horse" because it means to just don't do anything.
my second favorite theme was the one of idioms and jargons because it explain us some phrases that we can use in the society all the time (idiom) and the ones that are more used in business which are the jargons.
Week 2 review.
I was absent most part of the week because I broke my
nose, but when I came back I noticed that they had seen many new and
interesting things such as the relative clauses which are the ones that we use to give additional information about something without starting
another sentence. By combining sentences with a relative clause, your text
becomes more fluent and you can avoid repeating certain words, for example:

We also talked about the relative pronouns which help us
to introduce a relative clauses and it also help us to stop repeating some
words, and the main relative pronouns are:

We also worked in the course book a few pages about this
exercises.
I could not say if I really liked or not this week
because I was absent but I am sure that it was quite entertaining as always.
Week 3 review.
This week we
talk a lot about our projects and how do we have to turn them in, I’m really excited
about it, but what makes me feel kind of gloomy is the fact that I don’t have a
lot of inspiration while doing my first photo so I will try to get myself more inspirited
to take another one
We were
also talking about our fears which we will have to present on Monday but I already
choose it and every time I talk about it I feel like I’m am going to dismay,
but it will also be really interesting to know other people fears.
And finally
we talked about emotions which was a really interesting theme for me because I
learned new words and also found a new favorite word which is loath (I’m still waiting
for someone who makes me really angry to say it).
It was a
really short week but I really enjoy it and it was really dynamic as always.
Biography.
I decided to do my biography about the man that introduced my to soccer since I was a little kid and his name is Thiago Silva.
His full
name is Thiago Emiliano da Silva, he was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on
September 22 1984. His parents’ names are Angela and Emiliano da Silva, both of
them are Brazilian. His father was a fisher and his mom had a small supply
store.
Thiago is a
Brazilian soccer player, he plays as a center back and his actual team is the
Paris Saint-Germain from the French ligue, he is the captain of the team. The same
happens with Brazil, he is an absolute international player and he is also the
captain of his national team. In the FIFA ranking he is considerate as one of
the best central backs in the whole history of football.
His professional
career started in 1998 when Fluminense FC allowed him to play for the team, he
played in Brazil till 2009 when the AC Millan decided to buy him for 1 million
euros he played 118 matches and scored 6 goals.
In the year
of 2012 one of the best clubs in the world, and with this I mean the Paris
Saint-Germain decided to buy him for 30 million euros, and he keeps playing for
it till the actual date.
He is
married since 2009 with a Brazilian model named Isabela da Silva and he had 2
sons and their names are Isago and Lago da Silva.
An interesting
fact about him is that his best friend is David Luiz who is also his teammate in
the national team of Brazil and in the Paris Saint-Germain.

Dr. Megan Coffe
A specialist in infectious diseases, Dr Coffee has been working in Haiti since the earthquake in2010. She arrived in Haiti after the earthquake and established a new sanatorium in Port-au-Prince. She still works there, without pay, taking public transport to work, treating patients.
i choose her as one of my favorites unsung heroes because sometimes we humans just care about of the big countries suffering and we just claim heroes to the peole that help those countries but we leave compleately alone to the ones that need our help, and also we dont recognize the people that sacrifice their lives to help them.

the myth basically tells us that the mily way was formed when Hermes took Hercules to suckle from the breast of his stepmother Hera, but Hercules was so strong and that hurt his mother and when she tried to remove him she pour milk over all space and in this way the Milky Way emerged.

when the world was young nothing existed in it there was just water, and in the silence the 3 gods Tepeu, Gucumats y Huracán lived, the they dicided to poblate the land, but first they needed clay to sculpt all the living things they had in their head, so first they created land, after this the 3 gods decided to create animals, but after that they saw that the animals should be ruled by a more intelligent living thing so they created the humans.

it explains that the whole universe was created by a massive explotion that was caused by an old star, and when it exploded it liberated tons of energy and that way the universe started to create and also started to develop new froms of living things.
